MEET JAX! This 2-year-old friendly black-and-white boy is adorable! He has had quite the experiences in his young life. He came into a shelter after being attacked by either a wild animal or another dog. After some minor surgery, he became stressed at the shelter so they put him on the euthanasia list. But now, Jax has been rescued, and he's turned out to be a cute and fun-loving dog. He's very much a puppy still - he tested well with another male dog and has been great with our people. Jax would thrive in an active home with a person or people who walk, hike, and go on other outings. He would be fine in a family with older kids (over 12), just due to his energy level. We're not sure what he's mixed with - the shelter said lab/pit - but he could have some shepherd or cattle dog in him. Whatever he is, he's a handsome boy in need of a home.
