Shep is one of two dogs my family needs to rehome. Due to a family/medical situation, I have an emergency rehoming need for two dogs, ages 10 mos. They have been outside dogs their whole life. They are mostly german shepherd (dad was full, mom was mixed). They are big but sweet. We took them in back in June for a lady at church. They are both fixed and up to date on necessary shots, as well as treated dewormed and flea/tick preventative. They are good with kids but need to be fed separately (female dominates). They cannot live on our farm because we cannot keep them contained. We've tried wireless fence, chain link, and cable pulley tie out. The female escapes daily, then the males barks and cries for her. She crosses main roads and likes to chase our neighbors livestock and our own (cows, sheep, horses, chickens). We are in Jeff Co. and need them rehomed asap before a car hits them or a neighbor shoots them. We just want them to find someone who will give them the time, safety, and love they deserve. We can help with transport. If you or anyone you know can help, please let us know.
