About Hammie

Courtesy post for Hammie with 3 Acres Rescue Hammie is looking for his forever home! All Hammie wants in life is a family and a ball in his mouth. He has an oral fixation, if he has a toy then he is happy. The only thing Hammie likes more than a ball is food. This happy 3 year old boy knows sit, lay down, paw, go to your crate and he is crate trained. He also knows hand signals. This happy boy barks out of excitement but people confuse his happy demeanor as aggression. Hammie is good with kids 10 years and older, as he might knock a small child down. Hammie has been bounced around so much it takes time for him to bond to his person. Hammie has been attacked several times by other dogs while he was in the shelter so he doesn't care one way or another about other dogs. He just wants his ball. He needs a home willing to give him decompression and time to feel stable in a home. He has been failed too many times. Hammie needs an active family or a fenced in yard.
