About Jack

Meet Jack O.M.G! Jack is precious! Look at this face! His face pretty much tells it all . . . Jack was surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him, and it was love at first sight for everyone who has met him. We believe Jack to be a Chinese Shar -Pei/Bulldog mix, and he is currently six months old. He is super confident and friendly and loves everyone he meets. Jack is very smart, and with a little training he will turn into a perfect companion for an active owner or family. Jack does not seem to care for other dogs or cats, so will be adopted as an only pet. Jack is microchipped, neutered, and current on all vaccines. If you are looking for a great puppy who is uber adorable, Jack would be a perfect choice. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
