About Butters

Meet Butters, an Australian Cattledog mix who is about 5 years old. She weighs around 45 pounds. Butters is a huge snuggle bug. She likes her walks, and also loves to snuggle on the couch. She is a nice balance between going out for fun then Netflix & chilling. Butters can be shy when meeting new people, but quickly warms up with some treats. Once you're in, you're in! Butters is a quick learner and will relish a home who keeps her mentally occupied. She is currently learning an automatic sit for for treats and attention, down, sit/stay, recall, and 'on your side.' She even likes car rides. Butters is fantastic on leash and is a dream to walk. She does fine being left alone and isn't destructive. She is house trained, too. Butters likes a proper introduction to new dogs, as she has been bullied in the past. She appreciates well socialized dogs and has fun at doggy daycare. She gets the zoomies and runs around with the pack. She also likes to play with soft toys that squeak. She would be fine as an only only dog or with another well-socialized medium-ish sized dog as a pack member. Butters is all about soft, cuddly beds. She melts for belly rubs. She likes to be brushed. She also gets a derpy smile when she is excited! Butters is best friend material and looks forward to a home all her own. Butters is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Oregon. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt near Salem, Oregon. A home visit and vet reference are required.
