About Midnight

German Shepherd / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

There's no place like a forever home for the holidays, and Midnight can't wait to find hers! This 2 year old Lab/Shep (reindeer?) mix is such a fun loving playful girl, she will make all of your days merry & bright! When she's not playing with her foster sister, she can be found hanging out with a chew toy or lounging around waiting for someone to pet her -- back scratches are her favorite! She loves to go on adventures and does great in the car. If you're looking for a hiking/running buddy, Midnight is your girl. She walks great on her leash, and will go anywhere with her humans. Still very much a puppy at heart, she gets excited and is learning to not jump up with excitement and keeping play bites to a minimum, but is getting better with her manners every day! Midnight does require slow introductions to new people and furry friends. This beautiful girl is fully house trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and being fostered in York, PA! Will you make her Christmas wish come true and give this sweetheart a forever home for the holidays? Set up a meet and greet today! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
