Age: 5.5 months Weight: 8.6 lbs Breed: Miniature poodle/Chihuahua mix Adoption Fee: 460.00 Monty is a shy and timid little boy and he must be adopted into a home with at least one other young dog who can help him build his confidence and show him the ropes! Monty is a moderately active, sweet boy, looking for a forever family to call his own. He's a cutie and full of love to share. He joined Pathways as an owner surrender, and he arrived with his pup buddy, Clayton, but they do not have to be adopted together. He will need a patient family who will allow him to become the best version of himself as he adjusts to his new home. Because he is a puppy, he will need at least one family member who is home the majority of the time to help guide him along. While Monty is pee pad trained, he will do best with a new owner who will take the time to teach him house manners including how to potty outside too! He will require regular grooming to keep him looking cute and fluffy!! Ideal home: a family who has a canine companion for Monty and who is willing to spend the time doing basic obedience training with an active puppy who needs to learn house manners. Monty would do OK with older, respectful children and would be okay for condo/apartment living. Must haves: 1. puppy safe chew toys and exercise 2. basic obedience training 3.
