About Tootsie - lap kitty

Hi my name is Tootsie. I am an 11yr old tabby Maine Coon Mix. I have the plume tail, huge eyes and am simply adorable. I am bonded with my Mom, Gracie. We have never left each others side. Our vaccines have just been updated and we also had a checkup. The vet said we had a mild dermatitis skin issue from fleas, and we were both treated to resolve this issue. No more fleas and where we itched is healing nicely. Otherwise, we are both in excellent health. I am on the shy side but that is because my Mom was sick and couldn't spend much time with us, so my cat Mom, Gracie and I were alone often. Our perfect home would be some where the morning sun beams in a window, where Gracie and I can soak up the rays. Of course we would enjoy snoozing with our new Mom or Dad at night too, and give us a soft bed as well. I do like to play with teaser toys, kitty springs, a soft string or feather on a pole, the ball that goes round and around. The exercise keeps us healthy. We would prefer a quieter home where someone is home often, works from home or is retired. (FYI most cats on grain free wet and dry healthy diets often live to be 16 to 20 yrs.) We are both easy going, no bad habits. I will need a little adjustment time, alot has happened in our lives. Many strangers have been around before and recently since Mom passed.
