About Lucy

I picked Lucy up one evening off of a lost and found page. I had rescue set up. Plan fell thru. I live in an elderly disabled apartment complex. my husband has Parkinson's. He said he would keep her. Where she was 20 pounds soaking wet when we got her to 49 pounds now he just can't handle her. I have a cat of 13 years o rescued and kept on purpose. This has been a long challenging back and forth situation! Lust is potty trained. She has almost mastered leash walking. She know get that fly...she will to so there's a plus. Get that bug. Stop digging. No kitties(ones outside wild) leave kitty alone( my kitty) several words. If you say for for a walk or to the park she knows those words!!!! We have all gone thru a lot together thru this. It gave me a bigger perspective on folks that foster. This has been hard.bespecially when her fur ever hole comes. I want a good life for her. A fenced yard. People to play with. Maybe a friend? Lucy does sleep in the bed with me and my cat so kinda messed up there unless she can sleep in the bed with you�%9D%A4��%8F�%9D%A4��%8F. This will break my heart and soul forever because this is one special dog. She just wants love and give love and give more love. She just wants to play and make you happy! She's great at that. I've never had to do this before but have read about folks rehoming. Drew judgement. Now I won't. Never know why folks do this. I'm doing it as it's not fair for her nor me or my husband. Which has already been knocked down twice by her and has had his skin ripped since he's older and has thin skin. My cat is my priority! Period. His whole life has been disrupted. Stressed. Dang dog will bark and wake him up. I didn't get the dog to keep but I have put a lot of work into her!!! She's protective and very loyal.
