Boswell comes from a sad background. He was dumped under a lady's garage in Pittsburgh with 4 others. He had some health issues and I had to spoon feed him and syringe water to him so he would get better. He slowly made progress and all his issues have been rectified as he's 100% healthy. One of his liter siblings passed away, and the other two found homes (I have one) and he was supposed to go to one of my friends in upstate NY. Sadly they couldn't. I kept Boswell to foster him to prep him to be adoptable. I have brought him back to Pittsburgh several times and he handles the 586 mile car ride well. The place we stay at has three Newfound dogs and he handles them well. There are safe zones where he chooses to be so he can get away when needed but has no aggression or problems with them. He's housed with a 7 year old female tuxedo and his sister (neither are up for adoption). He's enjoyed sleeping in hotels when we travel, Petsmart for his vet appointment and picking him new fun things to eat and Starbucks (for his kitty cream). He has been loved and cared for and is 100% ready for your home. There's so much to love about Boswell. He plays, snuggles greets you when you come home and most of all he loves food. This lil guy sounds like a gremlin when he eats. It's so stinking cute. He gets Greenies, freeze dried fish, loves his organix fish pate, tuna filled tarter control treats, and calming/hemp chews as he needs them (fireworks, garbage trucks, visits to the vet, changes in our schedules; and he eats them willingly.) He drinks from a shared water fountain of spring water. We do feed him in a separate room for the others since he is a piggy, he will start to eat the others food and we think it's because his childhood. The others have adjusted from food anxiety but he will need your patience or just to be fed in a different room. If you leave food down for free range eating he is not food aggressive at all. I have woken up to him right on my chest or glued to my hip, purring away and loving life. Play time is the rest of the time. At night I pack away all the toys so he can focus on rest, he does well with that. He has been well vetted and is microchipped and registered. We will gladly change the microchip info upon adoption and give you the details on how to make changes in the future. In all he is about 6 months old and all the hard work, medical issues, neutering, vaccines, medical testing etc is done for you. All you have to do is open your heart and home. He is registered with Banfield and is on a kitten plan, so whomever adopts him, he has to stay there til the end of the year minimally. We would like the name to stick. It's a touching story if you need to know I will be happy to share. Please only message me if you have a forever home for him. I travel between Saratoga and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania frequently so let's meet up. Adoption fee of $300 applies as I payed all the food, calming treats, supplies, vetting, cat sitting, monthly preventive flea and tick treatment, medical bills etc (over $1,200.00 for the last few months)
