Peaches was rescued from a shelter, after being taken away from her owners. Her prior humans neglected the many dogs they had leaving them outside all alone. Peaches has become her foster mom's shadow! She longs for companionship, loves to be held, caressed and cared for. Her ideal forever family would be someone who works from home or is retired. She will need to be in a home, no apt living because she tends to bark when her humans leave. She tolerates her foster siblings, but would do better as an only dog because she wants all your attention. Peaches has begun to show signs of playing with toys, she loves her stuffed animals. She is doing great with potty training, consistency being the key. On the rare occasion she wasn't let out in time, she found a pee pad and did her business there. She had recently been weaned from her puppies and will be spayed on Nov 19th. She is up to date on shots. If you think you can give Peaches the home, love and attention she deserves please fill out an application with Maltese Rescue California.
