There's that saying (that we do not own rights to) 'If I had my life to live over..... I would have found you sooner so I could love you for longer....' -Anonymous. This saying couldn't be more fitting for a sweet girl like Ellie. This precious soul came to us with open wounds all over her body which were clear signs of abuse, not altercations with other animals. Ellie was dumped in a dumpster, inside of a carrying case. We are so grateful that this sweet girl joined our Rescue community thanks to a good Samaritan who heard her cries. She is a staff and volunteer favorite with her loving ways. She seems to have let her past be just that, her past. With her loving spirit and affection, you'd never know she's been through rough times. Ellie is looking for a very loving home with fun, love, cuddles and patience. She would do well with another playful and friendly cat or on her own. Ellie may be considered for a home with children over 10 who are respectful of animals, their ques & boundaries and dogs would have to conduct a meet & greet here at the Center. Ellie hopes you see her.
