About Chase

German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hello, We are looking to rehome our Chase. He was rescued from a hoarding situation at 5 weeks. He just turned 3 on Oct. 19th. We are not sure his breed, guessing a shepherd mix. He is medium size dog.. guessing about 50-60lbs? He is neutered & microchipped. He is a wonderful family dog with so much to offer!! He is potty trained & kennel trained. However, we have not used a kennel since he was a puppy, he stays out while we are away and does well. He plays with our older dog and loves being around kids. We have a large family and he loves the many neighborhood kids. Chase is very active and would do best with a lot of room to run! We have an invisible fence and a large yard, he does very well with it. He can be skiddish if he is scared. He does best with calm, direct commands. Chase also has a heart murmur. It doesn't seem to slow him down. Looking for a new home for him has been the hardest decision. Our older dog has bad hips and can't keep up with Chase's spunk. Chase jumps on her to try to get her to play, but the older dog started to get snappy. Recently she has become more aggressive toward Chase and we are becoming concerned. Chase is an absolutely wonderfully sweet little guy!
