About Brownie

(DOB 08/05/2021) Due to Brownie's young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Brownie is a bashful little girl with a beautiful face and a heart full of love. She loves being with people and being held and getting belly rubs, but she is shy in asking for your attention. Once this submissive girl finds her courage, she showers you with kisses and tail wags. Brownie loves to run and play with her sisters, but she is the first one to go off on her own and explore or just go take a play break. A securely fenced yard for her is a BIG plus. If there is no fence, she will need an active family committed to taking her for multiple walks a day to get her energy out. Additionally, she really loves playing with other dogs and will need to be adopted to a family with at least one other PLAYFUL dog to help get her energy out and show her how to 'dog.' In her puppy excitement, she is very mouthy/nippy. Due to this, she is looking for a home with kids 10 and older. In a nutshell, she is a typical puppy in that she loves to play, play, play with toys, people and other pups. She will need a family ready to take on the puppy stages and keep her both entertained and using positive reinforcement training to build her social skills and boundaries. She is just now starting her house training and leash skills. As part of Brownie's $275 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit is due at the time of adoption. The deposit will be refunded once the puppy has been altered.
