A stray from MS, Eli has been in an amazing foster home learning many new things. His foster mom shared: 'This young man now sits and waits to be fed. He also reliably (but not perfectly) walks on leash for potty and exercise. He's a smart pup!' Eli is a 4-5 month old pup who is crate trained and working hard on his housebreaking skills. He's great with other dogs, affectionate with people and at a great age to learn to respect cats. His sister Tessa was rescued with him and you will see her in some of the pics/video below. We highly recommend basic/entry level puppy classes for all of our pups to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in his genetic background. Our best guess is a Lab mix. Going by his rate of growth we expect him to reach about 55-65 lbs as an adult, but we cannot guarantee size at maturity. - Well socialized - Friendly, Affectionate - Working on crate training - Working on housebreaking skills - Enjoys playing with dogs - Great age to be introduced to cats - Playful, Curious, Happy - Food motivated - Up-to-date on vaccines - Has not been neutered* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, he has not been neutered due to his young age. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro-chipping, and health exam.
