Apollo was surrendered to us after he was shot and the owners wanted to euthanize. The vet wouldn't let an otherwise healthy dog be put to sleep so at 3:30 AM they called us. His leg was beyond repair and they had to amputate it. Dont let this Tri-Pawed fool you - he has no idea he only has three legs and is the happiest boy on the planet. He is a year and 10 months old (DOB 12/2019) and 30 lbs. He's good with other dogs and kids over 10. He gets very excited and can easily knock over a smaller child. Hes crate trained, house broken and knows 'sit', 'come' and 'down'. He will need a home without stairs as its dangerous for him to go up and down them. Also, his furever home should have a calmer dog his size or smaller. Apollo LOVES to play but he can't have too much rough play/wrestling to avoid injury. He will be neutered once the vet clears him from his amputation surgery and then will be available for adoption.
