About Beasle

Hello, there! My name is Beasle! Yes, you heard that right! I was once known as Diesel but everyone and his cousins have had a dog named Diesel so I officially changed my name! I'm a native of South Carolina but came to Augusta Dog Adoptions because I was in a very crowded shelter that was going to kill me! I sure am glad I'm here! I enjoy taking walks and I LOVE to roll in tall grass. I mean, I LOVE it so much! I'm a smart boy who will do anything for food including shaking your hand. I'm a happy, easy going guy as long as I don't see a cat! I seem to have some hunting instincts so cats and livestock aren't going to be good roommates for me. I seem just fine with other dogs and I love attention and affection from people! I'm a great guy who deserved to be saved! Now, I just need you to make my story book ending complete! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Beasle, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
