About Paloma

Paloma is Female, 4 yrs old and 74 lbs and is in need of a foster or adopting home! This poor girl is set to be put down 10/16 because no fault of her own! The shelter is simply overfull. Paloma came in shelter on 9/3/2021 and had been very fearful, anxious, and stressed ever since. Paloma in the beginning would not come out of her kennel to potty and was not interested in taking any treats! Now five weeks later, Paloma has started to open up to some familiar faces and likes pets and treats! This shy girl just needs some quiet time to warm up to her surroundings! Paloma will still need a placement who understands she is nervous and will give her a quiet home so she can learn to trust humans again and slowly show her personality! She is such a sweet girl, but scared of loud noises and quick movements, so kids would not be a good idea right away! Paloma seems to be leary of men and seems to be more comfortable with females. It is not known how Paloma is with other dogs, no dog to dog assessments have been done.
