About LOU FLEMING

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. LOU FLEMING and her 6 siblings (TIM FLEMING - TY BORDEN - AMY FLEMING - JACK BARLETT and GEORGIE) were found in a backyard in Lawndale, Ca. They were all malnourished and sick. They were living off a dangerous street where people were actually poisoning and hurting the cats. So LOU FLEMING has only know street life for a very small amount of her tiny life. She has been living a nice pampered life now. LOU FLEMING is a very sweet girl. She likes to cuddle with her siblings and any kitty. When she sees people, she will come running and rub herself all over them. She instantly starts purring. She is totally crazy for her can food. She is a very sweet, loving little female. She will definitely need a cat friend in her new home. LOU FLEMING is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / DILUTED CALICO MIX. She is about 6 months old and is good with cats and dogs. She has never been around young children. LOU FLEMING is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, CA off Madison Avenue. FEBRUARY 2022: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any of the PETSMARTS listed below. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located (or the others listed below) and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID. PETSMART locations where available applications for WORKIN' WHISKERS can be picked up: PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue in Hemet, Ca off Florida Avenue on Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
