About Lucky

Lucky is a big, handsome boy that came into our rescue just as the state closed down for COVID restrictions. At the time he weighed 57 lbs, but today he is 75 pounds! We believe he is about two years old now. Lucky was adopted and in his home for 8 months before he was returned to us in July for 'thunder fright'. Well, we have sat with him during subsequent thunder storms and he hasn't seemed nervous at all! Either way, this boy really deserves a loving, permanent home with folks who will care for him through thick and thin. Lucky is a goofball who is super friendly to all. He is good on leash, but occasionally needs to be reminded not to jump up or play-mouth. He will do well with some calm, consistent reinforcement from his adopters and we think he would be a fun dog to do more obedience training with, too!
