About CAESAR (aka Cesaro)

*** BREED EXPERIENCED OWNERS ONLY, PLEASE ! *** 'CAESAR' (aka 'Cesaro') is a very handsome, 1 yr and 1 month old, 60 lb. German Shepherd male we rescued from a dog pound. Caesar is an oversized lap dog who enjoys playing with his buddies. He is so incredibly sweet, affectionate, gentle dispositioned and also is goofy and playful. Caesar is a smart boy and knows some basic commands like sit and lay down, but like all German Shepherds, craves mental stimulation so would love to learn more! Caesar is so eager to please, and though he loves playing he also likes hanging out, watching tv. He does love having canine buddies and thrives with their companionship. His optimal home would be a calm, quiet, gentle environment with a breed-savvy, confident semi-athletic owner and an equally good-natured resident, confident canine companion to help Caesar continue to blossom and thrive. Caesar has not been cat-tested and older children would probably be the best fit. Caesar is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
