About Loki

Meet sweet Loki. Loki is crate trained, house broken, gets along with other dogs and does not annoy the cat too much. He loves treats (when time for bed or just need him in crate, he will go inside knowing he will be getting some kibble). We adopted Loki from Humane Society in May 2021(at that time breed unknown. We are sure is is Black Mouth Cur , possibly a mix)). He loves us and we love him. He thinks he is a lap dog lol. Loki needs lots of room to run (he is fast) and play. He gets very irritated (barking, lunging) at strangers walking dogs. Also at dog park acts crazy until dog/ human is inside, then fine. He also may have separation anxiety (he cries while mom is gone with dog companion). We have no idea how he does around kids. But is not reactive to them, bikes, cars, etc. we are hoping to find him an active home where he can be taught to deal with some of his behavior issues. He is wonderful to be around and is a snuggle bug. We are a couple in our early 60's and he deserves a more active family (he would walk and sniff all day if he could) to keep him at his best. We will be extremely picky because we have to always live with our decision and would appreciate updates from new family Thank you
