About Fuzzer

THIS IS A COURTESY POST CAT WHO IS BEING CARED FOR BY OUR FRIENDS AT OTHER RESCUE GROUPS/SHELTERS, OR IS A PRIVATE PARTY NEEDING TO REHOME THEIR CAT. FOR INFORMATION ON THIS CAT, PLEASE DIRECTLY CONTACT THE PERSON NAMED BELOW. Fuzzer is a 6-7 yr old gray and white Maine coon mix boy. He seems fairly independent and self assured. He is scared/stressed when moved to a new location, but once adjusted, he spends a lot of time sleeping in sunny locations or lounging on the bed and in a cardboard box. He will get the itch to play sometimes, but is pretty lazy most of the time. He is not much of a lap cat, but he does enjoy being brushed and pet by his humans. He has a history of a bladder stone which resolved with diet control (no surgery). He also has a sensitive stomach. For these two reasons, he eats exclusively Royal Canin Urinary SO canned cat food (a prescription diet) and we have spaced out his feedings to 6 feedings per day. He likes to eat plants if he gets the chance and that makes him vomit. He will also try to eat a corn broom if it is within his reach. He sometimes gets hairballs. Fuzzer is fairly independent and self assured. He has lived with other cats in the past, but was separated because he intimidated a more timid cat. He has been around a human baby for several months and appears indifferent.
