About Kira

Kira is a high energy, sweet and loving dog. She is always ready to play or go on hikes or runs and enjoys the occasional road trip. We rescued her at 1.5 years old after she was found on the streets of Arkansas. She is pretty anxious (we assume from her previous situation) but otherwise an amazing dog anyone would be lucky to have as part of their family. She is very bossy when it comes to other dogs and still hasn't quite grasped that other dogs play differently but there is not an aggressive bone in her body (despite her talkative nature). She loves everyone as long as they have a hand to pet her with. She needs a family with a large fenced in yard and either kids or another dog that can keep her occupied as she constantly needs attention.
