Oso is a very devoted dog. Once he bonds with someone, which doesn't take very long, he is a constant companion. He hasn't really been around children so I don't know how he would do with them. He has not been aggressive toward others dogs unless they are aggressive toward him or food is involved. He would be great for a single person or couple who have time to spend with him. He has separation anxiety and likes to be with a person not alone outside. Oso is missing one of his hind legs. Don't let that fool you! He is getting older now and prefers short walks. He loves to chase and retrieve balls that are thrown for him at the park. When he was about 2 he was hit by a car and went through 2 surgeries to try and save the leg and a third to have it amputated. This has made him fearful of shots. He needs to be muzzled or medicated for vaccinations. He is also protective around his food. Because of his fear of vets he needs to be muzzled for vet visits. He snaps at the staff trying to put a temporary leash over his head. He has never been to a kennel so I really don't know how he would do in that situation to be honest.
