Oso is a very devoted dog. Once he bonds with someone, which doesn't take very long, he is a constant companion. He hasn't really been around children so I don't know how he would do with them. He has not been aggressive toward others dogs unless they are aggressive toward him or food is involved. He would be great for a single person or couple who have time to spend with him. He has separation anxiety and likes to be with a person not alone outside for hours at a time. Oso is missing one of his hind legs. Don't let that fool you! He can run faster than many dogs with 4 legs! He loves to chase and retrieve balls that are thrown for him at the park. When he was about 2 he was hit by a car and went through 2 surgeries to try and save the leg and a third to have it amputated. This has made him fearful of shots. He needs to be muzzled or medicated for vaccinations. He is also protective around his food.
