Angel (a.k.a. Soprano) is an 11 month old, 13 pound chihuahua mix. Maybe with Pug? She's been through a lot in her short life: at six months old she was spayed and had surgery for a cherry eye, then 3 days later she broke her leg, and at seven months old her owner died. Despite all the negative experiences she has had, Angel is still a happy, confident girl. She will need an adopter who is home a lot, as she has some separation anxiety in the form of barking when her owner isn't home. Therefore, she likely would not be a good candidate for an apartment situation. Angel is still a pup with much to learn, but her potty training is coming right along, and she has learned to come, sit and crate training since arriving in Colorado. She walks very well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She is friendly with dogs of all sizes after she has had some time to mingle and she is indifferent toward the foster mom's cat and doesn't chase him. Angel has lots of love to give to the lucky person who wants to be her forever friend. She has been spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested (-), dewormed, vaccinated, and has begun heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $375. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, the first step is to fill out an application at www.corgisandfriends.com/forms. We require the application with vet and personal references, a home and yard check, and a meet and greet with everyone in the family including dogs. Please note that we are not doing out of state adoptions.
