About Arlo

Arlo is a 1 year old (DOB 7/11/2020) Pit/Boston Terrier mix. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Arlo is a very excited to be around people and loves attention. Arlo has come a long way since joining Operation Save A Shelter Dog. Prior to his foster care life, he was found as a stray, and suffered from stereotypic circling and tail chasing. He was put on several medications at the shelter, however, since being in foster care, he has been 100% medications free! All he needed was a loving home environment. He gets along great with kids (his current foster home has 4 kids as young as 9 years old). In Arlo's furever home, he should be the only dog. He does not appear interested in sharing his humans with other Animals. Not sure if he gets along with cats, but he loves to watch turtles...and his shadow! Arlo is crate and house trained. When crated he does not whine or bark, and follows directions when told to 'crate'. His favorite toy is a Teen Titan plushie, that he has had the entire time in care. His diet consist of holistic and organic dog food and treats, he doesn't appear to have any food allergies. As for outside play, he is fast and energetic, and can jump. He loves to play outside and has no problem clearing a picnic table. He loves to sunbath. He walks good on a leash but will get excited if he sees another dog. He is easily corrected if this happens. He does not suffer from separation anxiety, but will definitely be your 'shadow'. Please let us know if your are ready for Arlo to join your family.
