About Sophie

Sophie is a beautiful white Shepard her birthday is March 19th. she is going to be turning two years old. We adopted her out as a young pup to a seemingly good couple with kids. they had vet references and past breed history. it was Unfortinent that we had to rescue her back at 1 year old with damage already done to her. she is fearful of new people it takes her a while to trust anyone. she seems less afraid of females then she is males. she has been around my children however she is just a puppy still and has high energy. she does not do good with small animals dogs included she is not meant for life on our farm. I don't believe in having a dogs that cant be inside. and know because she is attaching Our livestock we feel she would be a better fit for someone young that has the time to give her to come around to you. It took me nearly a month before she would allow me to pet her. She is a great dog and I know with a little love and a lot of patients she would make a great dog for a wonderful family. she has come along ways in the few months that we have had her, she still is pretty skinny but we are fattening her up slow and steady. we are also treating her for fly strike on the tips of her ears. This has been an on going battle all summer as we could not allow ether around or small dogs, cats, and chickens and ducks. without fear of them being eaten. I just want the best for her and I know we are not it. maybe she has been waiting for you.
