Sweet and friendly with a bit shy and gentle personality. Even though Allie is less than a year old, she does not behave like a typical puppy. She is already good on a leash, calm at the vet and loves to be with her humans. She is good with children and has a couple in her foster home. She is a happy and affectionate girl that loves belly rubs and attention. Allie won't require a fenced yard, so if you don't have one and will commit to nice long walks each day, that will be great for Allie. If you do have a fenced yard and kids and other pups to play with, Allie would be a good fit in that family as well!! She enjoys playing with her 2 foster furry siblings, too. Allie does not like to be left outside by herself as that's boring. She wants to be around her people. Allie already knows 'SIT', 'PAW' and comes when called. She is food motivated and easy to train. She wants to please and loves positive priase and affection. She has had several experiences riding in the car and is well behaved. She has gotten along with all other dogs she has met. She does love to toss the stuffy toys around and LOVES to chew on a hard bone. So people or pups; she is a good playmate. She does get nervous with new people but quickly warms up. She is a 7 month-old, 46lb female Shepherd mix. All is still a little mouthy/nippy, and is a typical puppy with some puppy behaviors (randomly grabbing a shoe/kids toy) and does some very gentle mouthing but is easily redirected. Allie sleeps in the crate. She loves her daily walks and typcially goes outside 3-5 per day which ensures her house breaking routine. When working from home, she is out and about in the house but usually lays around or plays with the other dogs for a bit. If we are working in the office, then she is crated and does just fine. As part of Allie's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
