You-hoo! It our little guy Lou! Can you believe this guy has been homeless since September? After living in a boarding kennel for almost 2 months, Lou is more than ready to go home! Lou is just 2 years old; he weighs 24 pounds. He is playful and active, just a young pup looking for a place! Lou knows how to sit, lay down, and come on command! He has been around other dogs with no problems but does have small animal prey drive so a home with no cats or birds is required! He does still have some puppy traits like jumping up or nipping when he is playing. We recommend kids 5+ in the home for Lou, just so no little fingers get nipped. The good news is Lou is treated motivated, so those traits can be worked on and trained! Lou can be shy at first before opening up to you and it looks like his previous home never taught him to walk on a leash. We believe with a patient, loving home he can learn to be a good family member! Lou could live in an apartment or traditional home. Lou needs a foster or adopter that will work with to help him learn.
