About RINGO

Adoption Fee: $175
Dachshund
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Ringo, a 5-6 month old wire haired miniature Dachsund! Ringo had a rough first 6 months with a liver shunt, lots of ER stays and there were multiple times we weren't sure he was going to make it. This boy is a fighter though, and now he is stable, with normal liver enzymes, and the vet believes the shunt closed on its own! Ringo is now ready to find his forever home with someone willing to take on whatever medical needs he may need in the future though we currently don't anticipate any and expect for him to live a normal life. Ringo is a typical feisty puppy that still needs lots of work on puppy manners and expectations, as due to his medical needs, training took the back burner. He is good with all other dogs and people. He will require a fenced in yard and children over 6 years of age. He will have had two rounds of vaccinations, microchipped and will come with a neuter contract to be completed within 6 months of adoption. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp Ringo's adoption fee is $175 plus a $75 deposit that will be returned with proof of neuter. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Beeler, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog based on the dogs needs.
