Meet Letty! Age: est 4 years old. Breed: German shepherd mix. Size: est 50lbs right now, we estimate 60 when she is at an ideal weight. Training: crate trained, doing well with house training. We are working on leash training. She does best on a harness. Good with dogs? Yes. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. She does well with children in her foster home, however we recommend children that are considerate and understand she will need time to transition. Personality: timid/reserved with new people & new situations. Once she adapts, she is very friendly and playful, but also laid back and likes to snuggle. Fenced in yard required. Letty needs another dog in her new home to help teach her how to be a dog. Letty needs a patient owner to help her become the wonderful companion we know she can be! She has already come SO FAR! Letty was believed to be feral when she came to us with her litter of pups. It didn't take long for us to realize she is just a dog that had lost trust in humans. Reason for rescue: Letty has quite the story. She was believed to be dumped as a pup and lived on her own for a couple of years. Letty is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: $200.
