**PLEASE READ BLOSSOM'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING. THANK YOU** This is Blossom, our beautiful Maltipoo girl who is about 8-9 years old and about 11lbs. She came to us when her owners surrendered her to the shelter, leaving her in a horrible condition and asking that she be euthanized. We quickly got her out of the shelter, to the vet, and into one of our rehab fosters. Blossom had a severe yeast infection covering her body head to toe and double ear infections. It took her foster months to get Blossom's health back on the right track, so we are only looking for a home for her that can continue the same regimen that we provide her. She does get skin issues/ear infections time to time and the vet said this is normal because she was left in such an immune compromised state, so the things we are doing for her now are an absolute must or she can go backwards in her health. An owner with experience in dog skin issues would be a plus as you have to be able to spot when it is starting in the early stages before it gets worse. Blossom needs to go into an adult only home as she is not a dog that likes to be carried, picked up and fussed with. She is very independent, much like a cat. A home that allows their pets on the furniture is a must. She loves laying in the bed with you and on the top headrest part of the couch. She requires dog stairs at the couch and bed as she has very tiny, short legs. She enjoys a short little walk and then it's back home for a nap for this girl. She is very easy and mellow. If you are looking for a calm, quiet and easy dog, then she is the pup for you! She would love another calm dog companion in the home or could possibly be an only dog if you are home almost all day or work from home. We don't want her left alone long hours. You must be committed to continuing the same care is she is getting now. She's a sweet pup who deserves the best home ever! We only adopt in Southern California as an in person home check and trial period are required. Blossom is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated If you would like more information on her or an application emailed to you, please contact us at: [email protected] or 310-990-2020.
