I thought I'd never have to see this place again! I left the shelter with my new family back in April 2020, ÝÙÕÓ but sadly I was found as a stray again. Clavell, Cattle dog/Staffordshire mix is ‰%9DÎnow set to be put down in the shelter 9/12‰%9DÎ Needs Foster, Rescue and Pledges! Apply to Foster, Pledge for Rescue! I walk on a leash , I can pull a little , hey lets go for that walk. I do take some time to warm up to people , the shelter can be scary and some people are too! Dogs at Home? Glad you asked, during my prior stay, I participated in doggy play groups and was social with two females during the play group. Cats? don't have time for those . It appears he was adopted for about 1.5 years. We have no information on that. Unfortunately, a member of the finders family tried to hug him and he bit them. Clavell was probably scared and didn't want to be hugged by an unknown person. Reports from previous shelter stays say that I have been easy to walk,ÝÙ÷%8D playful and affectionate, and that I am a 'sweet, fun dog' that loves attention and being petted. Unfortunately, recent notes indicate that IÝÙÕÓ'm getting discouraged! Staff say I avoid interaction and don't turn around when called, that I appear to be looking for a way out, and that I flinch when touched. Anyone interested in fostering me would need to keep me separate before introducing me to a dog in the home. I think I would do well in an adult-only home! I am hoping that a rescue and foster will step up to give me a chance. I'm don't want my life to end alone at a shelter.
