About Daisy

Daisy is a blue merle Australian Shepherd currently located in Elkhorn, NE. Daisy is amazing with kids, very loving, and a great family dog. When we moved into our neighborhood, we were the only house around, and Daisy thrived. Unfortunately, as more houses were built and neighbor dogs moved in, Daisy has become increasingly aggressive towards the neighbor dogs. Daisy is protective of her family, like most Aussies, and having multiple dogs next door on the other side of the fence has been very hard on her. She has become more aggressive, anxious, and overall territorial since the new dogs have moved in. We have tried everything we can think of for Daisy, but unfortunately her aggression towards the neighbor dogs has become problematic. She is starting to injure herself trying to get through the fence, and we think she needs a home in a more isolated setting in order to be the happiest, healthiest dog she can be. To be clear, Daisy has absolutely zero aggression towards her family. She lets our toddler climb all over her and has never once snipped at him, she is extremely loving to 'her people' and overall is an amazing dog. It breaks our hearts to try to re-home her, but we think it's for the best.
