Look, I'm gonna cut to the chase here.�%A0I'm a big girl, I'm 6 years old, and�%A0I've got a little�%A0baggage... Hey, some people�%A0say that's what makes�%A0life�%A0interesting!�%A0I'm a 6-year old German Shepherd/Malinois mix and when I was a puppy I got adopted by a really fun family. I got all my puppy out, went through my teenage years, and then�%A0one day my family took me on a car ride but they forgot to take me home. What happened,�%A0you ask? Wouldn't I like to know! Well, as you might imagine, I'm feeling pretty confused,�%A0nervous, and my anxiety is�%A0not�%A0helping matters; some days I don't even recognize myself. Feeling this way means I don't�%A0always express�%A0my emotions in appropriate ways,�%A0right now, but that doesn't mean I don't have it in me to be a good, loving family member... Don't forget, I was a part of the family for many years!�%A0Something I've been thinking about while I'm waiting for my furever home is that people always talk about animals�%A0not understanding boundaries�%A0but you know what? Sometimes people don't either! I can tell you this much, I do. not. like. people getting up in my face and I don't like being startled awake�%A0when I'm in a deep sleep. Being caught off guard like that�%A0makes me feel like something is wrong and that I need to immediately protect myself. I have a foster home that is going to take care of me very soon and they say that I am a very friendly and sweet girl. I know that when it's finally time to go to my furever home I want to be the only�%A0pet,�%A0even though I like to make dog friends sometimes.�%A0Also, I definitely don't want to live with kids;�%A0been there, done that, baby! Eh, that's just too much hectic energy for my style and it makes me�%A0feel nervous. I like an adult home with a very calm, laid-back lifestyle that doesn't have a lot of commotion or people running in and out. I still have lots of playful energy though,�%A0so maybe playing ball or exploring in the backyard sounds good to you too? I'm excited to get to my foster home�%A0and I'll be sharing more information about myself�%A0as life settles down!
