About Stella

Stella was found abandoned in an apartment without food or water. When her person moved out of the home, they called the landlord to see if they could get their microwave that they left there back. This was 4 days after they moved out, and no mention was given to the animals that were still in the apartment. When the landlord went to check, they found Stella along with two sugar gliders. They were all suffering in the heat, hungry, dehydrated, and lethargic. The landlord surrendered all the animals to Famous Fido Rescue. Stella has been settling in at the center. She has a comfortable couch and tv, and she is liking being able to relax, and is feeling safe in the knowledge she has a reliable source of food and water. She has been very sweet to all the team here! Though Stella is safe and secure here, she is quite lonely. She longs for love, loyalty and a person to share all of her happiness with. Stella's tail wags non-stop whenever someone walks past her - she is full of joy and so badly wants companionship. Sadly, she does appear to have ear infections due to her ears being cropped. Cropped ears can cause ongoing issues, but we are doing everything we can to help her with that! We are looking to find a loving home for this precious girl that will keep her safe forever! Stella is about 5 years old and 65 or so pounds. She does get along with other dogs.
