To post Bo on the fftf site and petfinder... Bo here AKA Bo Bird AKA Bird AKA Birdie AKA Bo B. I've been told I'm a very handsome, 1 year old pittie mix and am a pretty special guy. I'm sweet, silly, mostly chill, independent, and sometimes very serious. I'm an observant watcher, extremely smart, who listens well and knows several commands. I love my food which has made me pretty easy to train. I am neutered, vaccinated, potty and crate trained. I walk nicely on the leash and don't need to go far. I have a little wobbly walk and easily get hot during warmer months so I'm always looking to find the closest shady spot! My interests include toys, chewing on sticks, checking out bugs, chasing a ball, and I love a comfy dog pillow to sleep on. Here's my background story: 9 months ago, I came to my adopter's home as a foster from NM. I came to CO with rickets and survived a bad case of parvo. I'm truly a survivor! At 4 months old, I was a floppy puppy with bowed legs, a very chill disposition who easily acclimated to the pack of 2 female dogs and 1 male dog. It seemed easy for my foster to adopt me and I am very loved. So why do I need a new home now? Well, I grew up into a handsome, strong 50 lb. boy and I've grown into my big boy personality too. Because of this the other male in the home and I are not getting along. I think I would do best as the only dog and I really love people! I need people that can love me just as much as I love them. My ideal home would be with adults that have a fairly quiet and calm lifestyle and can let me be independent at times and spend time with them doing fun things too. I'd love a fenced in backyard to hang in, fun toys to play with, a walk or two a day, a little adventure here or there, and an easy, comfortable forever home with my people. Breed experience would be an added plus! Also because of my past medical issues with rickets, it is recommended that I remain on a joint supplement, fish oil, and/or CBD.
