About Tatum

Tatum wants a home with other fun and friendly pups. He loves other dogs, and it brings out his fabulous, fun and fantastic personality. At his age, he has a lot of playful energy. He is a pup that needs the ability to run and play to burn excess energy. He loves being outside as much as possible playing with his furry friends. Tatum would love a family that would make sure he could attend doggie day camp. A yard with a solid 6 ft+ fence that he can run around with his furry siblings ans stay safe is what he really wants. He could be an apartment pup and his new family members would need to make sure they can get him and his siblings out several times a day to walk, jog, and play. Tatum is good with kids. Overall he is gentle, sweet boy likely coming from his more submissive/shy personality. He would be best suited for older kids. If those kids would like to play with him and share squeaky, chew, or stuffed toys with him he would love that. Toys, toys, toys! Tatum is still young, and it is great time to use positive reinforcement training to build his skills with loose leash walking (he still pulls some), house training and taking him out for breaks and walks and introducing him patiently to new sites, sounds, and things. He is already crate trained. Tatum needs a family willing to be patient with him as he builds the same confidence he has with all dogs with people. He needs to learn trust and believe in humans as kind. You can see from his soulful eyes how sweet he is and you can tell from his pictures with playful pups he is happy as can be; he wants that special family to understand how unique and special he is. He does the cutest head nod and downward dog when he is excited. Tatum is going to make someone very happy as a very sweet and loving dog. Road tripin' is something new for Tatum. Once on the road, he relaxes into the trip. He is a 7 month old, 29lb male Pit mix. As part of Tatum's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
