About Jeorge

Do you spend a lot of time in the car and want a traveling companion that won't 'bark' orders on how to drive? Jeorge loves the car and is a road trip fanatic! When not road trippin', Jeorge loves the outdoors. Jeorge is living w/a foster family that has 3 small kids and is well behaved around them. Jeorge is fine around strangers, but is still a bit shy/timid until they get to know new people. Jeorge also lives with 2 female dogs and foster puppies, so he is learning a lot about socialization and how to be a happy, well behaved pup. That said, he really only likes the ladies, so let's skip male dogs for Jeorge as he will need another dog in his new home to help with his confidence. As far as cats go, we aren't sure yet as he hasn't had an opportunity to meet a kittie. Jeorge could be a good fit for apartment living as long as his new family makes sure he gets appropriate exercise, playtime, and walks. He really does love being outside so make sure you take that into consideration. He loves the fenced yard of his fosters home and will spend hours outside enjoying nature. If you have a fence with 4-5 ft, that would be cool for Jeorge. As a sweet foster boy, Jeorge is playful, loves squeaker, soft & chew toys. He is food/treat motivated so learning new commands or tricks would be a great way to continue to build your relationship with Jeorge. He is already crate trained and sleeps in his crate. Jeorge loves walking his human siblings to school each morning; he would love a similar routine in his new home. It is great way for him to socialize and continue to build his confidence. He is on the shyer side, so an adopter willing to continue to work with him is important to us. His ideal family would be one that would shower him with love, be patient and have lots of toys to play. Jorge is also a great 'work from home compainion.' He patiently sits in his kennel in the office and is so quiet when his human dad is working. He is a 1.5-year-old, 35lb male Lab mix. As part of Jeorge's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
