About SIMON

SIMON is a handsome BLUE POINT SIAMESE. He is around 7 years old, neutered and FRONT DECLAWED. He is a structurally BIG cat at a little over 20 pounds (but some of that are love handles that should come off with diet and exercise). ���S Simon came to SPCR as a rescue from a bad home situation. We don't know exactly what was going on other than poor Simon was about to be dumped out to fend for himself with no front claws in the wild. As you can see by his video, Simon is pretty much a gentle giant. He is quiet, loves attention and would probably be fine with other animals (we know he lived with both cats and dogs). He is moderately active and seems to find bird watching from a sunny window his favorite activity. Simon has been vet checked and is very healthy and other than keeping him on a diet to bring his weight down is pretty low maintenance. He uses his (large) litter boxes 100%. We are looking for an adult, cat experienced home for this big boy. Perhaps due to his background he can be pushy and get over stimulated and would be too much for kids. He has done well in foster care with consistent reinforcement of rules has come a long way. This guy is AWESOME and will be a wonderful addition to the right household! ADOPTION FEE $150.
