A beautiful blonde 5 year old 95 pound lap dog, Audi (aw-dee) grew up with a 55 pound Chow Chow 10 years older and a 7 pound cat 3 years older. He has shown aggression towards the Chow which has resulted in a few altercations where she has gotten hurt, and likes to chase the cat who will slap him for bothering her. He is great with adults but hasn't been around many children so unsure of how well he does with them. He's a big dumb baby when by himself but gets jealous when our other dog gets attention. Audi will need to be a single pet with land to roam or a properly fenced in yard (he'll chew through a wooden fence if there's an animal on the other side) and will need someone who is stern, knows the breed, and has the time for him. He's prone to chasing other animals and has caught a few squirrels and rabbits. He has gotten ahold of two neighbors' little dogs (one who got through our fence and into our yard, and another that's antagonized him into breaking through the fence) and thus is chipped and registered as a dangerous dog by the parish's Animal Control. He listens pretty well unless there is another animal around, in which it is hard to get his attention. He loves to chew on toys and sticks, and occasionally will get into the garbage unless there's a lid. He loves to be by his humans but we work way too much to give him the attention and exercise he deserves. He walks well with a prong collar but will pull in a normal collar. He is up-to-date on shots and needs medicated shampoo or he gets a bumpy skin reaction. We believe him to be an American Staffordshire Terrier. This is my baby but my baby deserves a better life than what I can offer.
