About Kovu

Kovu is an amazing dog, but has severe anxiety issues. I had to leave him to go to veterinary school in another country, as I know the stress of bringing him with me would not have been good for his current issues. I had an amazing home set up for him, but he has unfortunately become more aggressive since I have been gone. He is typically such a happy, sweet boy, but he has moments of aggression that cannot be explained. His new owners have been trying to train him, but his aggressive behaviors are getting worse now that I am gone. This is a last hope effort to hopefully have someone see this that can help him. I am not sure what else to do. He is so sweet most of the time, but he has severe anxiety, and it is taking over. He needs an owner that is experienced in dealing with these issues. He loves other dogs, and he loves people, except for when he has moments where someone tries to be dominant to him. I would be so grateful for any type of help or advice in this situation, even if it isn't adoption. I don't want to have him euthanized. He is such a good dog, but I understand why his current owners cannot keep him. They are expecting a baby in the near future, and I know they don't need any extra stressors.
