Posted on 8/26/21, and the picture was taken on 8/11/21. Cooper was found running around Diana, TX around 6/28/21, and surrendered on 8/11/21. He was neutered on 7/30/21, when no owner could be found, is heartworm negative, and estimated to be 1 to 2 years old weighing 73 pounds. Cooper had a severe issue with going in a crate at first, but has made tremendous progress through the use of can food and praise. He also doesn't like to be pulled by his collar, so should not be around smaller children, but loves people and getting attention. He is a big goofball wanting to play. He will pick up anything on the ground to play keep away, and wants a person to try to take it from him, but he will never bring it to the person or give it up unless something else is thrown in his direction, and then he doesn't know what to do, since he can't pick up both objects. He also shakes paws, and loves to ride in a vehicle. He is a very smart dog, and needs a person with a strong and confident personality. He is great on a leash, and does have separation anxiety to a point, so he would have to go in a crate when left alone, or he will try to follow the vehicle. He would do best getting paired up with another female dog.
