About Sue

Adoption Fee: $250
Boxer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Sue would love to curl up in front of the fireplace with you! Sue has an adorable wrinkly furrowed brow. Sue also has a very unique one long ear and one without. It makes her super cute! She is very affectionate, loves to snuggle and stays close to her human. Sue has has been good with kids and teenagers. She loves their pets and kind attention! She was the center of attention with a local Girl Scout group at a recent adoption event. Her tail never stops waggin' when people are giving her love and attention. She loves everyone she meets. She would do best with a family/person who has a flexible work schedule, works from home and can spend time going for daily walks and having time to play with her fur siblings. Sue needs a home with another dog so if you don't have another pup for her to hang out with, play with, and be with, this isn't the girl for you. Sue would just be unhappy without another playful in her life! In addition, Sue's 1st foster home, she shared with 8 cats and was learning to respect them. A home with dog savvy cats would likely be fine for Sue as long as the family is willing to be patient during the new period of introductions and boundary setting. She is motivated by tasty treats and is smart. She has good manners and basic commands (sit, wait, down and leave it). In addition, she is potty and crate trained. Sue is also good on a leash and likes going for walks. She recently attended an event with lots of other people and dogs and had a great time! A good yard with 4ft-5ft fencing is best for Sue. She loves to run around a play with her furry friends. Sue loves being outside for sure but dog parks are not for her. Sue is familar with the doggie door and goes in and out to play and potty. Sue is still a little unsure of the car but once she is settles in she does fine and relaxes into the trip. Sue is still young so having toys and other dog appropriate chew toys are still needed to keep her from chewing on 'other things.' As part of Sue's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Sue will have surgery for luxating patella's in early March and will need to have rest post her surgery. Our rescue will cover all costs. She is a 33-pound hound/boxer mix with plenty of love to give. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email [email protected].
