About Valentino

Valentino's past may not have been great. A rescue friend intercepted him before he could be surrendered at the shelter. He is shy and timid and would not have done well in that environment. While in foster, he wasn't receiving a ton of individual attention so we put him in a home where he would get that to see how he would do. Valentino bonded hard with the young female in the home. He would go up to her for love and attention, and it touched our hearts to see that in him. We are thinking perhaps a male let him down in the past because he becomes very defensive in the presence of a male. A home without a male would be ideal for this pup as he learns to trust people again. Valentino is an amazing pup with so much potential as a loyal, beloved companion. These are the pups who capture our hearts as we earn their trust. Valentino weighs about 22 pounds and is the most interesting mix of breeds - we are guessing with the Corgi/Lab designation!
