About Beau

Hi! I'm in desperate need of some help. I have a 12yo Australian Shepherd/Border Collie/Chow mix that I need to find a new home for. I have had him almost his entire life and ideally would keep him until he dies but he has a lot of unpredictable and aggressive behavior at times that we cannot keep him any longer due to the fact that my wife and I are expecting our first child in a few weeks. I was going to give Beau to my mom because he does great with her but she sadly passed away from COVID a few months ago and I have no other options. He is really a sweet dog but just has some lingering behavioral issues from abuse suffered when he was a puppy. He hates to be groomed or have people fuss with his paws/fur/etc. he has bitten me before while I attempted to groom him. He doesn't get along with other dogs except the two dogs he grew up with. I'm really in a bad spot right now because if I cannot find anywhere for him to live, I will have to put him to sleep. I just cannot let that happen. Please help us. �٪%8F
