About Theo

Introducing Theo...he wants you to know that he is very shy when he first meets someone new and it may take him a few days to adjust before his really happy self will emerge. Theo needs a person/family that will be patient with him during introductions as he is very timid and scared at first. He does not growl, or act aggressive in any way, but prefers to back away from you. He will then sit and wait for you to pet his head, or attach a leash. I've now had Theo for 1 month and he is such a character. Theo is a really fun loving dog, who loves to wag his tail when he is happy. He would love another dog friend in the family who has a lot of energy and is very playful. His confidence is bolstered by another dog in the family. I am fostering Theo for the Humane Society of Harris County. He is learning to deal with a multitude of people at the farm.. all which think he is such great. He hangs with my 5 other dogs and is very good around horses. Once Theo warms up to you, he willingly comes to you, enjoys a good wrestle and going for long walks or just sitting by your side.. He's also quite the water bug and enjoys swimming in our lake. He is looking for a family to call his forever home as he can't have any more disruptions in his life. He is house trained and is not destructive in his kennel. Loves to sleep on his couch at night:)) Actually a very easy keeper just looking for long term love and stability:)) Lots of photos and videos available.
