About Dottie

Hi, my name is Dottie. I'm a small girl with a really big heart. My owners left me and my brother and sister at the shelter. We were all in the same kennel, but they got adopted and left me by myself. No one took me cuz I had a little lump on my belly and I think it scared people away. The nice people at Outta the Cage came and met me and discovered that I'm a sweet girl who just needed a chance. They made sure my lump was removed and then they took me to a wonderful foster home. When my family left me at the shelter they said I was 3 years old but I might be more like 5. I'm a healthy girl, and love going on walks with my foster mom. I'm good with other dogs my size (I weigh 35 lbs), but bigger dogs can sometimes make me nervous. I'm happiest when I'm home with someone all day. I am crate-trained, house trained, and know how to use a pee pad in the house. I'm friendly with older kids and I'd be great company for a senior person, too, since I'm quiet and don't need long walks. Could you give me a forever home? I'm chipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home!
