About MATILDA

Adoption Fee: $125
Bulldog
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Matilda, Maddy, Tilda, Mads, Maddy paddy pumpkin pie'|. Otherwise known as a sour patch kid. First they're sour, then they're sweet. Matilda is CUTE, but don't be fooled, there's more than what meets the eye. Matilda is a 7-8 year old, Olde English Bulldog who does well with people she knows and almost all dogs. She's an easy going couch potato, that just wants snuggles and a good nap'|. And maybe a treat once in a while. Her mom finds her to be easy peasy, once she settles in'|. But we gotta be honest, Matilda requires a real adjustment period. She finds change pretty stressful. Your first few days with Matilda might feel like a real shit show- let's be blunt. She doesn't want to listen, and she can be a little snippy when she's nervous and in a new situation. It's super important that any adopter is prepared for this, because we don't want to put her through another failed trial. Her foster mom is ready to find Matilda her forever home, and willing to help an adopter work through all the issues you're bound to have the first couple days. If you give her the few days she requires to get comfortable, you'll find what her foster mom does: a squishy bowl of jello in dog form, that just wants to melt into your arms. If you're looking for a companion and understand that Matilda is going to need a few days to settle in, she might be the right one for you.
